Cornwall Air Quality StrategyIn 2001, the CAQF resolved to prepare an air quality strategy for Cornwall to consider actions to address problems highlighted by air quality monitoring, and propose a realistic framework for policy decisions. This was to involve as many as possible of the relevant stakeholders from public and private sectors - both 'active stakeholders' whose decisions and activities cause pollution and may reduce it in future, and 'passive stakeholders' who experience the outcomes of pollution and may react against it. The Cornwall Air Quality Strategy document is the result of that process. It sets the context for the Strategy, explains the development process and sets out an air quality strategy for Cornwall which includes a toolbox of measures and an action plan.
